Coach and Woody were both our first experience with German Wirehaired Pointers. We instantly fell in love with the breed from the moment we saw their faces. Coach was initially intended just to be our hunting dog and he has proven to be so much more. I (Maura) decided to give showing a chance with Coach since he is such a great dog and so far has taken us for a very nice ride. He finished his Championship completely owner handled at just over 2 years old. He earned his Junior Hunter title at 2 years old as well. Some of his great attributes include a beautiful, regal headpiece. He has very dark pigment and a bit longer coat. He has nice movement and was a joy to show. He never let me down in the ring.  He absolutely loves the water and will retrieve all day long. He is very birdy and is competitive in the bird field. He exudes natural bird sense and is  "all heart". He is my (Maura's) personal favorite for his excellent disposition.
